We hire deliberately. Most roles are senior, most are research-adjacent, and there is exactly one on-call rotation that engineering, customer engineering, and the runtime team share. The compensation bands are published. The offer letter is the same one your future peers got at the same level.

How we work

Four things that don't move.

Senior, by default.

We hire small numbers of senior people for long tenures. The first ICs and the most recent ICs operate at the same level. Levels matter less than ownership.

Research-adjacent.

Most engineering roles will read papers, run ablations, and co-author when the work warrants it. Most research roles will ship code that lands in customer production.

On-call together.

There is one on-call rotation. Customer engineering, runtime, cluster, and SRE share it. Customers reach the people who shipped the code.

Compensation in writing.

We publish bands. We meet them. We do not reward negotiation; we reward leveling. The offer letter is the same one your future peers got at the same level.

What it looks like.

    Application

    A hiring manager reviews every application. You hear back within five business days, regardless.

  2. 02

    Manager call

    30-45 minutes with the hiring manager. Scope, role, team, mutual fit.

  3. 03

    Technical loop

    3-4 sessions, all on the same day or two. Real problems, no homework, no whiteboard riddles.

  4. 04

    Offer

    Same-week offer with the published band for your level. We do not negotiate; we level.
