Eligibility

Who can apply.

Principal investigators

Faculty appointments at accredited universities and research institutions. Adjunct appointments count if the PI has IRB authority.

Postdocs with sponsorship

Postdocs apply with a faculty sponsor. The sponsor signs the procurement; the postdoc operates the cluster day-to-day.

PhD students with funding

PhD students with their own funded proposals (NSF GRFP, ERC starter, equivalent) can apply directly.

Terms

What we commit to.

  • Unrestricted publication

We do not review papers, do not edit findings, and do not ask for delays. The grant is unconditional on publishing wherever you want, when you want.

  • No co-authorship required

Researchers can credit iframe.ai's compute in acknowledgements. We will not take a co-author slot just for funding the GPUs.

  • Grant-friendly procurement

We support direct PI procurement and grant-mediated procurement at NSF, NIH, ERC, and DOE. Tax-exempt status processed through the standard form.

  • Real hardware, real time

Grant compute lives on the same B200 / H200 cluster customers run on. There is no internal-only tier. If your kernel runs on our cluster, it runs on theirs.
